Another old post that didn't get posted from June

Here is another post I wrote back in beginning of June that didn't end up posted properly.  Has some photos of some of my passed work.  Please look over my site for more photos and check out the links to my other blogs at the top of this page.  Thank you for passing by.

I am back to baking and have been doing party/event planning, interior design and home staging a lot. I haven't posted much because a lot of my posts are on my other blog Dliteful trends. I love decorating and party planning but have gotten uback into baking. I also love photography and am working on building up my experience. Want to find a position as a second shooter with a photography company shooting weddings, events and cake or design pictures in the future.

Wanted to include some of my popular and favorite cakes that my customers loved. I also do candy and dessert buffet tables. Basically I enjoy all aspects of the party and event business from baking, decorating and planning. I will have loads of new photos coming soon this summer. I have a big event in July and I will be practicing my photography as well. I also will have a post tomorrow with design photos, furniture restoration and lots more so stayed tuned. Everything is my own recipes or family recipes. My past clients will tell you my cakes are fresh, moist and my fondant is amazing. I make my fondant from scratch and have lots of amazing flavors. I have some design stuff and crafts I have made and sold also. Here are some photos of a few unfinished projects I am still working on. I also blog about where to find and DIY stuff on my other blog. I will be updating this blog more with more photos as well as customer/client referrals and more coming soon. I am planning to take a business course, design course and thinking a pastry chef training as well. I am self taught but to break into this career on the professional level I want to have more training.

Desserts for Thanksgiving

I still have some room for a few more orders for next week.  I am booked up this weekend doing a decorating project for the holidays in Ft. Lauderdale and can't wait to post photos of the amazing winter wonderland I am creating.  I don't like to start baking till Tuesday for Thanksgiving, freshness is a must.  I can deliver in Broward area near Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Plantation and surrounding areas.  Can't go to Dade or Palm Beach won't have time.  You can however always pick up orders till Wed at 10 pm.  I did this last year and worked out perfect.

I make pies, cheesecakes, cheesecake bites, mini pies and pies on a stick, cakes, cupcakes, casseroles, and more.  Please email me at Dlitefulcreations@ymail.com so I can send you prices along with my phone number so you can call me direct.  I now take paypal, credit cards and cash.  A lot more convenient then last year.  I also have fresh pumpkin, apple, and more for the pies along with centerpieces, wreaths, decor and more.  I have handmade napkin rings for table settings and more items to set the perfect table.  I will show you how to set it along with my multi talent of folding napkins in over 80 designs.  I will give them to you folded and have many colors to pick from, from cloth to high thick quality paper ones that look like cloth.  This was a huge request last year after I posted photos of my own table setting ideas and napkin designs.  I have personalized Christmas ornaments, decor and will have fresh trimmings from Pine and Douglas Firs next week to make wreaths along with Holly, fresh berries, white birch wood and more shipped from up north to make centerpieces, fresh wreaths if you are like me and like the REAL deal and fake ones as well.  My prices vary and I have something for EVERY budget.

For those of you who don't know I have an Etsy shop online.  I will post the link at the bottom of the photos.  I have been making cakes, desserts, candies, centerpieces and party decor for awhile, then I love making home decor item since my passion is interior design.  I usually sell the stuff on ebay or storenvy, also locally on craigslist or at craft shows, but Etsy has been a great place to get my items viewed and made my first sale.=).

Below are a few of my latest creations.  I have some amazing Christmas items that I haven't revealed yet cause I had the issue with the copycat who took an idea I had and then claimed I copied her.  I don't want to give this person any ideas so once the item is completed later this week I will post photos and add to my store.  I am just looking for one item to complete the Christmas decor and it will be complete=).

A few of the photos are similar to other ones I made before just added some new accents or changed design a little.  Remember I custom make wreaths so if you see something you like I can change the colors, add bows or ribbon, initials, house numbers, and so much more.  Also with the silk floral wreaths I can make them on wire, grapevine or I now have the Christmas pine tree wreaths too=).  You can also add flocking in white for snow look or many other colors.  I have a lot of supplies on hand already and if I don't have something I can get it for sure.
