Cupcakes large, small, tall whatever you want=)

Cupcakes are by far the easiest to make, clean up and eat. I can make them in all sizes, shapes, colors, fondant, icing, buttercream, sprinkles, on a stand, in boxes for treats, for holidays you name it I can create it. I have tons of sprinkles, icing colors, ideas, tins, wrappers, boxes. I love these more than cake pops and you all know how much I love the cake pops too. Here are a few photos. I got some awesome pans and am getting more this week. Also buying boxes for large orders and smaller boxes for individual or small orders. Also going to make cupcakes for parties that come in a box with sprinkles and icing for kiddies to decorate themselves or we can set up a station at a table with all different flavor and color cupcakes with a variety of icing bags then sprinkles/or toppings to the kids can make their own. Check them out and remember I am taking orders now for Halloween parties and more!

More baby shower stuff

Got some more baby shower stuff, saw this awesome bike diaper cake toy that I just have to make! Then got a simple fondant cake for a shower that looks like a gift.

Fall time, cakes, chocolates and cupcakes

It's that time ghouls and boys, fall and that means, leaves, pumkins, ghosts, skulls, witch hats and so much more. Here are some cool cakes, chocolate covered pretzel sticks, cupcakes, and cake pops. I have pumkin molds, witch hats, getting skull pan and I can make a pumpkin with round pans, ball pan and bunt pan. Check out some great ideas and place some orders. I can also make eyeball cake pops and cake balls for Halloween parties. Don't forget these can be individually wrapped for gifts or goodies. Start your orders now cause I have several October birthdays and baby showers too.

More pot rack, candle holder, wall plaque designer idea pictures

These are some photos from in the store of an idea I had to make a wall plaque they sell into a pot rack and then they put candles. The guy was decorating when I was there so I made some suggestions and then went back today to see what they did. I want to hang over my island in kitchen and put candles on it and hang pots maybe! I love it wanted to share it. All from Kirklands, my favorite home store.

Red Velvet and Cream cheese frosting recipes

Ingredients

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease pan with crisco and flour. This is a must for no sticking!

In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. In another large bowl, whisk together the oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vinegar, and vanilla.

Using a standing mixer, mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined and a smooth batter is formed. If you don't have a standing mixer a hand mixer will work fine.

Bake 25-30 minutes, until toothpick can be removed from cake without any sticking

Let cake cool and then use spatula to remove cake from edges of pan. Flip cake onto plate or cake tray and allow to cool more.

Frost the cake. Place 1 layer, rounded-side down, in the middle of a rotating cake stand. Using a palette knife or offset spatula spread some of the cream cheese frosting over the top of the cake. (Spread enough frosting to make a 1/4 to 1/2-inch layer.) Carefully set another layer on top, rounded-side down, and repeat. Top with the remaining layer and cover the entire cake with the remaining frosting.

Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • 1 pound cream cheese, softened
  • 4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter (1 cup), softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a standing mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, or with a hand-held electric mixer in a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, sugar, and butter on low speed until incorporated. Increase the speed to high, and mix until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. (Occasionally turn the mixer off, and scrape the down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula.)

Reduce the speed of the mixer to low. Add the vanilla, raise the speed to high and mix briefly until fluffy (scrape down the bowl occasionally). Store in the refrigerator until somewhat stiff, before using. May be stored in the refrigerator for 3 days.

Red Velvet Heart shaped cake

Here are the pictures of my red velvet cake, was delicious. Didn't have the time to spend decorating it the way I had planned way to much going on with school, anniversary and was still worn out from spongebob. This weekend I am going to make some adorable cupcakes and cakes so stay tuned for some recipes, decorating ideas and more.

Excuse the dunkin doughnut box lol, that's the only box I had handy when making. Then my mm fondant was so soft my bow was not happening. I planned to cut out our names in white then put date in silver dust but never got to it so we just quickly wrote anniversary date and added some sprinkles. It was so good! I suggest if you have never made red velvet or had it to try it. So good and make sure if you using frosting to use cream cheese over buttercream so much more complementing to the red velvet and I must add my mm fondant, even though soft was so yummy, I think I like it soft just not good for molding, I may start to use it to cover the cake as base then use the sugar based fondant for making the bows and stuff I need to harden like clay. Fun times.

Spongebob @ the party!

Wanted to post Spongebob at Kat's party! He came out great.
