Jager cake for friend's surprise Hollywood themed bday!

Some friends and I threw a hollywood surprise party for a good friend of mine and I made a Jager themed cake, that is all of my good friend's favorite drink=). I also made some other decorations, did some m&m's in gold, red and black to match the party colors, a lollipop jar with feather trim and 40 sucks lollipops then a floral arrangement with roses, and feathers to make look hollywoodish. Here are a few pics, will post more pictures of the cake tomorrow without the candles and in the stages as I made it. Enjoy. Oh the cake was chocolate, devils food with a layer of melted hershey's chocolate instead of frosting in the center. I am not a big fan of chocolate but I must say my cake's are very moist and full of flavor the fondant was hard to work with cause I had to use so much food coloring to get it from white to a dark green, but it was all together good for my first time make such a cake. It was made in a 9x11 pan and I cut it to look like the shape of a bottle my printer was out of ink so couldn't make edible sugar sheet label, but I improvised for the special occasion.

These are rondelles they come in all color crystals, gold, silver or black, different sizes and round as pictured or square

These are large beads blinged out I can get cheaper ones at Michael's or Swarvoski ones which cost more these are available in many sizes and colors also
Feathers galore

These are the spikes I love them, I personally am not an earring girl but now I am lol. I like the mid size hoops but the larger ones are hot and when you wear them everyone will ask you about them

I saw these at Kohl's Jlo makes em and I made same ones for 10 dollars, they can be worn stud with ball alone or you can add on chain with ball, chain with feathers or other attachments I have with charms, names and more. These are great one pair of earrings that can be worn many ways.

I am not just making hoops, using feathers, chain, charms, beads, spacers, have danglers, hoops of all sizes and colors so many options. Been so busy with cakes for this event then have a party coming up but after that party I am working on and making cakes I will have more time during the day to work on the earrings and a great line of battery operated pillar candles, blinged out and with candle pins or candle charms. Perfect cause the candle lasts forever, no mess, no smoke and has great look. Here are the recent photos of earrings many more to come in weeks ahead. Cost for these start at 10 and go up to 60, some of the large hoops the real swarvoski crystals have better shine and sparkle and one large bead cost 2 dollars then the rondelles are 1.50 each, those large hoops have 20 rondelles on some of them and then if you want all large beads big hoops hold 7-10 the really big ones 4-6, spikes look good with those and the black hoops look hot with black gunmetal spikes, chains, and one black crystal ball with some gunmetal rondelles with black crystals, those are hot and best sellers.

Dliteful creations cake, made this last minute to display at this weekends event kind of like a celebration for the business for event and making it official with business cards and name. They match my company logo, colors and cards perfect.

Another angle of my 2 tier cake, bottom is vanilla icing with zebra fondant, sugar sheet, pink shimmer and pearls, then second layer is hot pink fondant with dliteful creations written on front with some circles in black and hot pink then pearls, put black piping around layers. Topped it off with my signature cupcake from my business cards with zebra wrappers, hot pink trim, pink icing, cupcake is strawberry, so pink inside lol. I am going to put a heart on top tomorrow. Then I got the great cake display stand, not as flashy as the rest of my display stands. Simple can be just as elegant, then check out my great cupcake stands.

Witch hat cake, wanted to make bigger but couldn't find what I wanted for pans=(. It came out good for a display. Used buttercream flavored black fondant, then instead of fondant ribbon used a orange ribbon with Halloween print on it and a buckle. Has spiders crawling on it and top of hat has a bend to it to make look real, then I dusted with edible shimmer in green. I have a few ideas of how to make it bigger if anyone wants to order this I can cut 2 different cakes I have. It has a dowel rod inside to keep it all sturdy and is many layers of cake.

I displayed business card on the cake since they match so good. This was a last second make and it took me 20 minutes to decorate it. I was so pleased it is one of my favorites

Here is the cake again I love it that much, so glad I decided to make it, then the booklet is my look book, frame to add photos of my previous work and business cards.

This is my kitchen after half the day of cooking not to add the brownies and candies in my fridge and cupboards. I will be selling these then have a tray of mini cupcakes for free samples while quantity last. I have cinnamon swirl, which is yellow cake and cinabon cinnamon mixed in the batter, delicious with cream cheese frosting, red velvet, yellow cake, chocolate and vanilla, there are a couple strawberry mixed in to for the dliteful colors everything else will be halloween colors.
My mini floral piece for table, wanted to show I can make centerpieces or accent floral pieces for parties and events. Every cake table, candy station or food table needs flowers. These are fake, going to add feathers if I have time









As you all know tomorrow night I have the Monster Ball event at Off the Hookah in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. I am so excited. Been working hard, between going to school, redecorating both the girls bedrooms and planning a party, making regular orders for cakes and working on getting a wedding cake order for Jan, I am beat lol. I am still working on the earrings, and on the search for beads and good feathers for the hair. The ones I got were not the greatest but I did use the up for crafts and in some kids hair. I will eventually get what I am looking for. I am working hard on this event tomorrow and a event I am planning coming up soon. I love making the floral centerpieces, and treats.. I am even having a small get together the night of Halloween for friends and family, fun night of food, drinks, tricks and treats, oh and costumes. Paige is a clown, very girly and not the typical clown and Paityn is a sailor, me I am a pin up sailor girl. Have an awesome black wig that really looks good people actually thought it was my real hair at the party I went to this passed weekend, but I did color in my blond eyebrows black, so that made it more convincing. OK let me wrap this up and get to bed, I have to ice dozens of cookies and cupcakes tomorrow then pack up all my decorations, displays holders, cakes, banner and candles. Don't know how I am going to carry all that. I can't wait to post the photos of my fully decorated treats and table, I got this awesome black lace table cover and a purple cloth for underneath, figured the lace would make the plastic dollar store purple cloth look better lol. Fall inspired ways to use pumpkins, this one is carved the added water and floating candles, great centerpiece for thanksgiving
You can carve and add flowers, or they have those fake carvable pumpkins you can get for under 10 and reuse, those will work great also, if you are worried about them holding water get a small glass bowl from dollar store and put that inside with some styrofoam, also sold at dollar store to place flowers and keep them in place=)

I think these are a great idea for people who don't like cake for there birthday so they can still blow out and candle to make that birthday wish then they have a gorgeous flower arrangement to keep for longer then any cupcake will last=). Selling these and have little gift boxes, call for pricing.
